Biography
The Dutch band coolScool was started by Rob Gerritsen and Witteman & Groen, who met in the early eighties and discovered they shared a passion for melodic pop songs and music from the sixties. Later line-ups included Paul Groen on bass and Maurice “Mouse” Bom on keys and guitar, who became a major force in the group and produced most of its recordings. Highlights included taking part in “De Grote Prijs van Nederland” and appearing on various radio shows. After nine years of recording and performing, coolScool disbanded in 1989.
