Brief
Question. Can one electronic artist inhabit several genres without losing a recognisable identity, and without a visible person at the centre?
Thesis. If every release shares one visual and thematic grammar, listeners will follow StrategyX from one lane to another (for example from trance-leaning singles to deep-house albums) rather than treating each release as a separate act.
What we are doing. StrategyX started as a pseudonym for music that fell outside the other Amini Music projects: more electronic, cooler, built around ideas of signal, control and systems. The catalogue grew into two lanes: a song-led melodic/progressive lane and a deep-house lane. We give the artist one umbrella identity (electronic), give each track its own genre in metadata, and give each lane its own visual grammar within a fixed palette of black, amber, cool white and blue. Release planning follows the lanes instead of one standard campaign model. AI-assisted tools are used in production and artwork; selection and direction stay human.
How we will judge it.
- Cross-release movement: share of listeners of one lane who go on to stream the other — [THRESHOLD]
- Relationship signals per release: saves, repeat listening, follows, profile visits, playlist adds — [THRESHOLD]
- View-to-stream conversion of short-form content — [THRESHOLD]
- Whether outsiders recognise StrategyX visuals without the name present — [method and THRESHOLD to be set]
- Whether releases scheduled close together support or cannibalise each other
What would make us stop. If the lanes attract separate audiences that do not cross over, the single-artist model fails and the lanes should become separate projects or be dropped. If releases stay flat despite an adequate campaign, we move on rather than wait.
Reports R01–R07 were written retrospectively in October 2026 from project notes. Later reports are written as they happen.
